Today’s EFT sequence topic is focused on Mercury Retrograde and the frustrated energy it can bring!
This video will use EFT and breathing exercises to help you release the strong emotions your body and mind may be holding onto.
As always in EFT, we focus on what could be considered the negative first, before reframing our thoughts and emotions into something positive. Facing our challenging thoughts and emotions first, means that we can deeply acknowledge and accept them in order to release them.
Holding onto strong emotions causes tension in our nervous system. An unregulated nervous system results in strong emotions, limiting thoughts, physical ailments and can send us spiraling into a mental state that impacts all aspects of our lives.
I recommend you have a drink of water and a paper and pen available during this session to note down the intensity of the emotions you're feeling and anything else that may come up for you during the session.
Copy my gestures and repeat my words throughout this session. If you feel inclined to substitute in words of your choosing that is fine. You can tap on both sides of your body, just 1 side, switch sides, use 1 or both hands, whatever feels comfortable for you.
Remember, EFT is used as a calming modality and is recommended in conjunction with, not as a substitute for any advice recommended by your healthcare practitioner. If you have health concerns, you should consult a medical professional.
