Police in Lynnwood are asking for the public’s help identifying a woman accused of using a fake ID to withdraw “large amounts of money” from Seattle-area banks.
The Lynnwood Police Department posted two photos on social media Wednesday asking the public to help identify the woman.
The department wrote on social media the woman recently used a fake ID “to withdraw over $12,000 from various accounts.” LPD Public Affairs and Communications Manager Maren McKay told KOMO News the total is closer to $12,600, and that money was actually from a customer's account at Verity Credit Union near the Alderwood Mall.
