Singapore Airlines is cutting more flights, as more countries around the world introduce border controls to stem the COVID-19 pandemic. SIA will operate at only 50% of originally scheduled capacity. The group said it expects to make further capacity cuts, given the growing scale of border controls globally and its deepening impact on air travel. SIA said it is actively taking steps to build up its liquidity, and will consult unions once again as it takes steps to cut costs.
