I stumbled upon Netflix's "The Most Hated Man on the Internet" - all I could think of was: how the f*ck was/is this legal in the US??
In the EU the victims could go definitely against the website owner - aside from possible national laws in different EU countries, the GDPR would allow victims to object to the processing of their data, and to demand the photos and other data to be taken down and permanently deleted; and they could claim damages for a serious breach of their data protection righs.
