Arun, an aspiring writer falls in love with Geeta, the daughter of a rich businessman. When Avinash asks for Geeta's hand for marriage from her father, he offers him to help him in his business. Arun rejects the offer by saying that he is against capitalism. However, after their marriage, Arun compromises his ideals to satisfy the economic needs of the family, hurting Geeta in the process. Arun soon becomes a big shot businessman but the distance between him and Geeta keep increasing. Things come to such a passe that Geeta decides to walk out of the house and get separated from Arun. Will Arun realise and rectify his mistakes for the sake of a happy married life?
