Having bribed his way into Heaven, Arseface now hires some willing sacrifices to appease the Dark Gods once more.
The Chapel's mechanics are a bit on the wonky side. A sacrifice's health is part of the computation, so you have a better chance at the higher awards with the hirelings than normal citizens or bandits (plus you can teleport with them, which helps). Second, and most vital, part is the time of day. More Evil Points are awarded after midnight. But, to ensure the highest health part of the computation, you'll have to have just paid your mercenaries shortly before the sacrifice. So, wait until you hear "Lights out, you horrible lot" and see your mercs get paid, then talk to one of the acolytes for maximum Evil Points for each sacrifice.
The final part is receiving the benefits aside from more Evil: Skorm's Bow, age reduction, and Necromancer title. In order to do this proper, you need to completely maximize your Evil gain. In order to do that, you must be between Neutral and Good on the alignment scale- the more Good points the better. After certain Evil Point benchmarks, you'll get your rewards.
Essentially this boils down to a Level 1 run through the entire game, as I never spend any EXP (and you're forced to have a single level in lightning). I use Willmaster's Elixirs and Elixirs of Life to boost max HP/MP and abuse the shop glitch for extra money. Yeah, the game is normally fairly easy, but this challenge actually makes it a little tricky (especially on a couple missions).
