Fighting a new gang of international thugs, James Bond returns to the espionage scene in Russia again.
Filming began this week in three locations in Russia.
Car chases, frustrated communists and a martini, shaken not stirred. All the ingredients for a James Bond saga filming this week in St. Petersburg, Russia.
James Bond number five, Pierce Brosnan won't be showing up but camera crews and stuntmen are producing the infamous sequences that make these films an international success.
On this moody day, filmmakers race and mutilate official vehicles down the streets of St. Petersburg making a curious scene for city's inhabitants.

How many cars have we broken so far? probably about 20 and we'll probably damage another 20 or 30 more.

A costly segment, the police cars are on loan from the St. Petersburg militia. All those damaged must be paid in full. And while the militia supplied the cars they couldn't spare a tank. The Russian tank featured was brought all the way from England.
