I just returned from leading workshops in Scotland, specifically on the stunning Isle of Skye and the beautiful island of Harris and Lewis. I've returned with many photos that I usually wouldn't show off, but I thought, why not? Let's go through them and talk about how I composed them.
Now, let's talk about composition. A lot of folk struggle with this. Ever heard someone say great photographers have a "magic eye"? Or that professionals know secrets you don't? Well, spoiler alert: that's not true!
Creating a well-balanced landscape image isn't rocket science—it's actually pretty straightforward. Most of the time, we just tend to overthink it.
