The long awaited Pokemon Home update for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is finally here! As of May 29th, Pokemon Home has updated so that you can now transfer Pokemon from previous games into your copy of Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet!

06:45 Alpha Sizes in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet
09:36 The Jumbo Mark
14:31 Mark Titles in Battle
This video will show you how Alpha Pokemon look in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet! Alpha Pokemon will retain their Alpha status and larger size when transferred from Pokemon Legends: Arceus, and they will get two cool marks to show off in battle: the Former Alpha Mark and the Jumbo Mark!
Although Alpha Pokemon are larger than their non-Alpha counterparts in Scarlet and Violet, they are still a significant amount smaller than how they appear in Pokemon Legends: Arceus.
Backwards compatibility has also been announced! With this new update, you will be able to transfer your Pokemon from Pokemon Scarlet and Violet into previous Pokemon titles on the Nintendo Switch! This means you can transfer a Goomy from Pokemon Scarlet and Violet into Pokemon Legends Arceus, then evolve it into Hisuian Goodra and transfer it right back to Scarlet and Violet. Pokemon can only be transferred into previous games where they exist, though.
Additionally, when you transfer a Pokemon from Pokemon Scarlet and Violet into Pokemon Home, you will receive a Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly, each with their Hidden Abilities!
