Moisturiser is the most important skin care products. Here are a few common moisturiser mistakes to avoid:
❌Using less quantity
✅You need a coin sized amount of moisturiser on your face and 3-4 pumps of moisturiser on your whole whole.
❌Dry skin instead of damp skin
✅Using moisturiser on damp skin not only requires less amount of moisturiser but also seals in the moisture to give you supple skin for longer. Always moisturise within 2 minutes of taking a shower when skin is still damp.
❌Using the wrong one for you skin
✅Every skin type requires a moisturiser. You need to find the correct one to suit your skin type. Use a gel based moisturiser for oily skin type and a cream or lotion formulation for dry skin type.
❌Not applying at night
✅Night time is the most important time to apply a moisturiser if you have dry skin. As heater or air conditioner is on while sleeping, then this increases the likelihood of drying out the skin. Applying a liberal amount of moisturiser on face and body before bed is important.
If you don’t have dry skin on the body, then just moisturise your face, hands and feet before bed.
