As gyms around the world begin to reopen after closures due to the coronavirus pandemic, many have implemented Covid-19 safety measures.
In Hong Kong, Pure Fitness has installed plexiglass partitions between machines like treadmills and ellipticals to allow social distancing between members. In addition, members are required to sign a health declaration, get a temperature check and clean equipment with disinfectant provided by the gym. The gym has also provided hand sanitizer and a UV phone sanitizer. Pool, steam and sauna facilities remain closed, and hair brushes are no longer provided to maintain hygiene.
