Soltara Healing Center is an ayahuasca retreat and healing center based in Costa Rica which focuses on honoring the Shipibo indigenous healing traditions with eons of history in the Amazon jungle of Peru. Soltara Healing Center is the only exclusively Shipibo healing center to be found in Costa Rica. This provides those who seek to heal a safe place to find an authentic Shipibo healing experience without having to travel all the way to the Peruvian Amazon. Travel time to Costa Rica is considerably less than to the Amazon, while Costa Rica is also considered a safer country with much more accessible sights and eco-tourism within just a small distance.
Soltara is nestled by forest on a ridge on the Nicoya Pensinsula, which meets the ocean on both the south and north side of the property but is perched on a ridge that allows for stunning panoramic ocean views. This allows for nature walks, beach bumming, sea kayaking and other activities which allow one to be with nature during their healing experience at Soltara. Nicoya Peninsula in Costa Rica is also considered one of the world’s five Blue Zones, which is a region characterized by an unusually high number of seniors living past 100 years of age. Once on site, it’s easy to see how this natural paradise is healing in and of itself, but when combined with ayahuasca traditions, ayahuasca medicine and highly experienced Shipibo healers, it has proven to have a profoundly positive impact on folks who spend an ayahuasca retreat there.
