'Traitor - Star Of The North' is an original historical fiction novel set in the late Elizabethan / early Jacobean era. Following the death of Queen Elizabeth 1st England looks to King James Vl of Scotland. However brewing on the horizon is a plot to assassinate him and place a catholic monarch on the throne in his place.

Part 1
The story begins in 1601 at Greenwich palace where a troubled Robert Cecil begins his scheme to ensure not only his own life and future is secure but also to protect the legacy left by his father during Queen Elizabeth's long reign.
