My tribute to all of the original members of The Clancy Brothers and Tommy Makem. Each member of the group here sings a verse. It's hard to believe that they're all gone now. REALLY hard to believe. This track was recorded from their reunion concert in 1984 after fifteen years of not playing together. Many folks like myself will always agree that Tommy Makem and the Clancy's were one of the most important and influential forces in Irish folk music as we know it today.
