I’m Brian and I’m currently serving in the military. I recently made the decision that once I get out I want to pursue my dream of sailing the world.
I always loved being on the water and all the adventures that come with it. With leaving the military within the next year, I was so confused on what to do next. I didn’t know if I should move back to my home state and get a regular job or pursue my dream of traveling the world. Looking into it, I didn’t think I could put off my dream to sit behind a desk. That’s just not who I am. With a solid timeline in mind, I knew I had to start now and not waste a minute more debating my future. So I started looking into boats that could handle my ambitious dream. I wanted to find something that was sturdy and dependable. I knew I needed something over 34ft to be able to comfortably go into the blue water. After much research and a lot of lost deals, I finally discovered what would lead me on taking the first step of my dream. A 1985 Catalina 36 and boy is she pretty!
