The Waterloo WL-14X Boot Burst features a gorgeous faded sunburst finish that was specifically blended up to match a certain pair of old cowboy boots worn by one of Country music’s top artists. The guitar player in his band - who is a friend of Folkway’s and a Collings guitar-slinger - tours with a Waterloo in his arsenal and helped make the Boot Burst a reality.
The Boot Burst is otherwise identical to other versions of the ever-popular Waterloo WL-14X. It features an X braced spruce top, Mahogany back and sides, Kalamazoo KG-14 body shape and styling, and a rounded mahogany neck with adjustable truss rod. With its parchment-white pickguard and dusty brown sunburst, the WL-14X Boot Burst is a very attractive guitar that has a wonderful vintage vibe to its tone, great mid range presence, and lots of round-over in the trebles.
1-3/4” nut, 24.75” scale. Open geared tuners, satin lacquer finish, animal protein glue construction. Bound top, unbound back, rosewood fingerboard, ebony bridge, bone nut and saddle.
With Waterloo Hardshell case
