It's Throwback Thursday and we have this oldie, but goodie for you from our film vault:
On 27 July 1972 McDonnell Douglas chief test pilot Irving L. Burrows roared into the air on the F-15 Eagle's first flight. The exceptional new fighter incorporated many new technologies but still passed its developmental and operational test milestones on schedule to enter squadron service just 28 months after the first flight! This short video includes first flight as well as air maneuvers and the separation of the anti-satellite multistage missile. We hope you enjoy this #TBT!
