Jatoba is a pretty simple wood to finish. The good news is that a clear, natural finish is just about the best way to do it because it has wonderful natural color, it's dense, and accepts all types of finishes quite easily. By filling the grain, you'll get a better finished surface and you'll add a bit of dimension to your project.
