My top three dividend-paying stocks include MAIN, Main Street Capital, O, Realty Income, and STAG, or Stag Industrial. Al three of these companies are great to invest in when you are just getting started with Dividend Investing because they pay out a dividend on a monthly basis, which is always nice to have. Dividends are also great because once you buy them, they are passive income, especially if you enable dividend reinvesting, then the dividends will continue compounding on each other and grow your account more and more over time.

A great brokerage when you are just getting started is Robinhood. They also allow for fractional shares, dividend reinvesting, as well as a whole host of other goodies!
