Viewers “follow the water” as Bill explains how city water mains supply fire hydrants and building fire suppression systems and the function valves controlling its flow. Bill explains the function and demonstrates troubleshooting a fire department connection, the operation of the facility’s diesel fire pump and jockey pump, and how to check valves in piping from the FDC and fire pump discharge direct the flow of water.
