Have you ever wondered how the satellite view of a railroad operation might look like? Well, I don't own a satellite, but I surely own a highly detailed and realistic N Scale Port layout, so why not show you a 'simulation', eh?
But not just that, as I take you around the Wrightsville Port showing it from the top in a rather slow and boring train ride, I also show you some exciting details of the layout through pictorial wormholes to show the details of each area and tell you the story of this little wonder that I am building for last 10 years. Of course I do get back to the essential components of the operations itself as and when they happen.
I am a big fan of realistic switching and slow speed operation. Many would argue that it is quite difficult to achieve that in N Scale, but as you'll see it is possible - not just in N Scale, but also in traditional DC (Analog) layout, while your tracks are all embedded in concrete! All you need is a little bit of patience to clean your tracks and locomotive, but above all, you need some good engines.
