The World Health Organization’s ‘Who's WHO’ video series tells the stories of WHO colleagues and the work they do to promote health, keep the world save and serve the vulnerable. Meet Dr André Ilbawi, who works at WHO Headquarters in Cancer Control. In this video, André talks about how the loss of a family member to cancer has made his work to address the global cancer burden more personal. He talks about his patients and the hope they have, even in the face of a life-threatening illness, and how it has inspired and humbled him. "People with cancer see the world in a way that truly matters. They talk about tomorrow as if it's a gift that they want to be able to enjoy."
