Vocal exercise to help develop your head voice. Slide through a major third on the "Oo" vowel, using a soft volume to keep your vocal folds thin. Vocal Range is Bb3 to C5 to A3. Keep your lips slightly pursed and rounded, as the "Oo" vowel is perfect for head voice and flexibility. As you go higher in pitch, avoid increasing your volume and instead, drop your jaw slightly if necessary.
Play around with modifying the vowel to Oh a bit, but find what works for you. This slight modification of the vowel to an "Oh" sound is called vowel modification and is perfectly normal. Remember to stop if it becomes too high or uncomfortable.
