The voice volume or loudness of the voice is individuality. If a person has loud or soft voice it doesn’t mean that he or she has any abnormality. It is as simple as sweating in the body. Each person’s sweating amount and the level is totally different. So that shouldn’t be any problem. If you want to make your voice softer try talking softer, reduce the volume. If it doesn’t work you can reach out to a speech therapist who might give you some exercises and guide you in a better way. Surgical treatment or medical treatment in the sense for changing the loudness of the voice is not really there in the true sense. Whereas the pitch can be modified. Some people want hoarse or broader voice. Some people especially in women if the voice is little hoarse they won’t like it and they want it thinner. That can be done. But the volume adjustment is not possible by any medicines or surgery.
