Tips and Tricks for Catching Kenai River Sockeye Salmon
Today I want to tell you about a very simple trick that will allow you to catch your day’s fill of sockeye salmon the next time you’re on the banks of the Kenai River. Sockeye salmon usually run very close to the riverbank—as close as three to four feet if the water’s fast. After casting out your line, then, your hook will be hitting rocks and ripping through the water quite a bit. This can cause it to get dull in as little as 10 minutes. To learn how you can keep this from happening and catch as many sockeye salmon as you can carry, watch my latest video.
