President Barack Obama is keeping tradition to support small businesses. Obama and daughters Malia and Sasha visited Upshur Street Books in Washington's Petworth neighborhood Saturday. The family was snapped dressed down for the occasion. The three skimmed books in the fiction section of the dimly lit store with bright green walls and miniature Christmas lights hung on the ceiling. The trio moved to the Adams Morgan neighborhood for a stop at Pleasant Pops cafe and market, where the president treated his daughters to fresh fruit popsicles. First lady Michelle Obama earlier kicked off the holiday season at the White House by welcoming this year's Christmas tree.
