✍️: These two 2005 Nevada shows were a breakout from the regular tour with just Bob & band, and no opening acts.
The Reno show is fairly well known amongst fans. Twas an all electric show, opened with a cover of Folsom Prison, & contains the first live outting of Mississippi since 2002. ... I acquired it myself from a taper after attending the April 17th performance in Boston. The kind man selling the recordings recommended it first outta the collection he had on him, & it didn't disappoint.
The Las Vegas show is not one that I was familiar with until now & found it to be well worth the listening while. Much the same as all shows upon this wonderful tour it displays Mr. Dylan in fine form giving his all upon every song.
One separation with the Vegas outing from the other shows beforehand is its ending of Don't Think Twice, band intros, & Watchtower. With the exception of the first two shows they were going with A-11 or Sing Me Back Home followed by Watchtower.
Anyhow, as always I recommend seeking & checking out both shows in full. After all, these highlights compilation deals are just my chosen method of listening. Tis something I've been doing well before the existence of YouTube. ... Just with creating on my phone & listening on Bluetooth instead of creating a CDr upon my laptop & listening on a CD player. ... Tis the times & all.
