This is the perfect hard drive for travel. It comes in various storage capacities but this drive is the 2TB size. It's a bus-powered hard drive, so lugging around an additional power adapter is not necessary. It receives its power from the computer's USB port! I use this hard drive in conjunction with a MacBook Air computer when I travel to store Final Cut Pro X videos and photos but it will work with a Windows computer too!
