FED JUST Put The Housing Market In SERIOUS JEOPARDY (Housing Crash 2023)

The latest Inflation report just got released and that could have a huge impact on the potential housing market crash of 2023 many people have been speculating about. The biggest trigger behind a 2023 housing crash has been affordability but with inflation coming down since the housing bubble popped and this latest report showing significant progress, it's likely that an economic crash is on the way which in turn could potentially lead to a real estate crash in certain markets.

The housing market bubble started popping around May 2022 as inflation rose to the highest levels in over 40 years. Ever since then, Jerome Powell and the Federal Reserve has been getting aggressive with rate hikes which has caused mortgage rates to surge and has had many people anticipating a housing crash coming. As of the latest housing market update, we've been seeing house prices crash 10% from peak levels so far but it would need to go down over 20% to technically be a property crash. Well inflation came back at 6.5% which was the 3rd positive inflation report in a row as far as meeting or beating expectations and as we continue to get positive news regarding inflation we're seeing the stock market rally and treasury bond yields fall as a result. This in turn has caused mortgage rates to decline again to the lowest levels in several months. So now many experts as part of their housing market forecast are more split on how big the housing market correction will be. I believe that regardless of what happens we still need to see a bigger real estate market correction. My real estate market forecast is that we could still see some serious price declines from peak levels. So will the housing market crash? Well according to the latest housing market news, some markets are definitely already on their way like Austin already down close to 20%. So my housing market predictions are that some markets will see a crash regardless but for a nationwide housing market collapse to happen, it's still up in the air.
