Meghan Markle Opts Out of Trooping the Colour: Expert Reveals Her Lack of Desire to Attend as Prince Harry and She Miss the Parade
As the Royal Family prepares to gather for King Charles' inaugural Trooping the Colour parade, a significant absence will be felt as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle opt to miss the grand royal event.
According to an expert, Markle has "no desire" to return to the UK for Trooping the Colour, marking a poignant moment for Harry's father, Charles, as he takes the reins.
The highly anticipated birthday parade, set to take place tomorrow, will witness a grand display of 1,400 soldiers, 200 horses, and 400 musicians.
Members of the Royal Family will ride on horseback and in carriages, proceeding from Buckingham Palace down the Mall to Horse Guards' Parade.
Following a military service, they will return to the palace to observe a magnificent flypast by the Royal Air Force from the balcony.
Last year, Harry and Meghan attended the final Trooping the Colour ceremony of the late Queen's reign, albeit without the privilege of appearing on the balcony, reserved exclusively for working royals.
However, this year, their absence is expected to be absolute, despite the significance of the event for Harry's father.
