As part of the civil disobedience actions organised during COP 25 in Madrid, XR Madrid built an 8-metre long whale skeleton sculpture. The art circle worked against the clock to have it ready, and the action circle planned a disobedience action in the form of a parade cutting Fuencarral Street and reaching Puerta del Sol.
With this action XR Madrid wanted to denounce the loss of biodiversity and the acidification of our oceans. This film documents how this sculpture was designed, what steps were followed and how this project united people from XR all over Madrid and rebels from all over the world who came to participate in this week's actions.
