Originally presented at an event hosted by the Joint College of Bishops in early 2014, this video demonstrates how God is continuing to advance the work of Bible translation through the help of his global Church. He is doing this by equipping and calling those toward Bible translation and bringing hope and healing to people around the world who do not yet have Scripture available to them in the language they understand best. Prominent figures such as Bishop Claude R. Alexander Jr., Dr. Barry Black and Rev. Dr. Brenda Salter-McNeil discuss how receiving God’s Word in their own language allows people the chance to fully use and discover what God has to say, drawing them closer to him.
Wycliffe’s mission is to see a Bible translation program in progress in every language still needing one by 2025.
