Advanced Warfare’s Infection is the worst Zombies map ever made, but it still has some redeemable qualities. Here’s five things it did right.

#5: I like how the end of Outbreak leads directly into the beginning of Infection. It gave Advanced Warfare’s attempt at a story some continuity between maps, which is something Treyarch’s games often lack when viewed from a casual perspective.

#4: Infection’s Easter Egg is pure camp. While it's not at all appropriate given the broader context of the story, I can see this map working as a joke-map if it was reworked.

#3: Speaking of camp, the Alligator Trap in the sewer is fantastic, despite its limited usefulness.

#2: The Goliaths are the only boss in the entirety of Advanced Warfare to actually be somewhat intimidating. Their design is excellent, though they’re not exactly great to fight alongside a horde.

#1: Infection accommodates Advanced Warfare’s movement system much better than Outbreak. Ignoring the sewer areas of the map, the map is very wide open, allowing the player the freedom to use their exo-suits as intended.
