Can We Help Beat Alzheimer's? - Yun Kyongsik, Ybrain
There is no known cure for Alzheimer’s disease, the most common form of dementia that is expected to affect 1 in 85 people worldwide by 2050. Yun Kyongsik, neuroscientist and founder of Ybrain, unveils a breakthrough technology that could potentially put an end to one of the biggest global health challenges of our time - a hairband that measures and modifies the brain signals of Alzheimer’s disease patients. Joined by medical journalist Cho Dongchan, Yun canvasses the technology’s possibilities and areas for improvement to make an Alzheimer’s disease-free world a reality.
