In this video, I will walk you through making a DIY modified 20-quart monotub for cultivating top fruiting mushroom species at home.
We will cover why we use monotubs in home mushroom cultivation, the tools used to make these and measurements for FAE (Fresh Air Exchange) holes as well as the measurements for the liner.
Liner dimensions for:
20 quart: 22" x 16"
32 quart: 20" x 24"
FAE Holes to center:
Short side: 1.5" (4cm) down from the top, center.
Long side: 3.5" (9cm) from the bottom & 4" (10cm) in from each side.
