Billy Napier enters his third year as the Florida Gators head football coach after a lack luster 5-7 season. QB1 Graham Mertz showed a lot of promise in his first season as a gator, and looks to improve in his second year under Billy Napier. However, the offense is LOADED with young talent at running back and wide receiver with notable names such as Montrell Johnson, Tre Wilson, as well as new additions with the 2024 class DJ Lagway, and others. The defense looks to improve after a somewhat impressive showing under second year defensive coordinator Austin Armstrong. After an excellent off season adding tremendous talent on all 3 levels of the defense from the transfer portal and freshman class, the gators defense looks to take that next step as a unit.
