In this video I quickly demonstrate using the Boss LS2 as a clean boost. For this I just run the guitar into the pedal and the pedal to the amp. I have nothing plugged into the loop. I have it set to "A/Bypass" meaning it's either A or it's bypassed, that's so I can use the A knob as a level control. You could conversely use that as a cut, or you could use A/B/Bypass for multiple settings.

It's a clean boost that doesn't color tone and that's pretty cool.
