Washington State has two potential NBA draft prospects in center Mouhamed Gueye and guard Justin Powell.
Gueye is a projected second-round pick according to multiple mock drafts.
"He's just such a tremendous athlete," WSU head coach Kyle Smith said. "As he gets stronger and more experience I think he can be a good two-way player and potential starter down the road."
The 6-foot-11 Gueye averaged 14.3 points per game and earned an All-Pac-12 First-Team nod last season.
Gueye also led the Pac-12 in double-doubles with 15.
Powell does not appear on many draft boards but is gaining interest from NBA teams.
The NBA champion Denver Nuggets had conversations with Smith about Powell just a few days after winning the NBA Finals.
"Justin, he's a specialist," Smith said. "He's a 6-foot-6 guys that can bang threes and is easy to play with. He's a guy that had a lot of NBA attention earlier when he was younger."
Smith shot 42 percent from three-point range last season which ranked second on the team.
The NBA Draft is set for 5 p.m. on Thursday.
