The Blue Meanies are Gotham's finest beat combo, performing Beatles and other 60s and 70s classics. They have performed for many years at Abbey Road on the River, an awesome 5-day Beatles music festival, held Memorial Day weekend in Jeffersonville, Indiana, across the river from Louisville. It's the biggest and best Beatles-based music fest ever, and every Beatles fan should go. It's Beatles-based and adds much more classic rock of the 1960s and 1970s.
This year, the Meanies were joined for a few songs by Fernando Duarte, a popular Brazilian singer-guitarist now based in London, who performs with the band Some Other Guys, and previously was in the Starclubbers. Here, Fernando and the Meanies do Fortunate Son, by Creedence Clearwater Revival.
