This brew was originally released in 2011 by Dogfish Head in collaboration with Sony Legacy. 2011 marked the 100th birthday of Robert Johnson, the blues legend from Mississippi. According to Dogfish Head they also added some extra lemon to the whirlpool as a tribute to Blind Lemon Jefferson, Robert Johnson's mentor.
