Mission
Free Bikes 4 Kidz is a non-profit organization geared toward helping all kids ride into a happier, healthier childhood. Passionate about the wellbeing of children, FB4K brings communities together to sustainably furnish bikes to kids in need, providing a pathway to health, happiness and opportunity.

The FB4K Way
FB4K invites the public to donate used bicycles, organizes volunteers to clean and refurbish those bikes, performs a safety inspection on every bike, and then hosts a give-away day. All bikes are given to other nonprofit youth-serving organizations for their constituents to receive. Every bike comes with a brand new helmet, so kids can start riding their new bike without delay, and so there is no financial burden to recipient families.

About the Omaha Chapter
FB4K Omaha was the 18th city to establish a chapter since inception in 2008. Our board is very excited about the potential impact we can bring to our community, as well as the collective impact all chapters are bringing across the US.

Want to get involved?
• Give a Bike: Our collection day occurs every October
• Volunteer Your Time: From October until December, we have multiple shifts per week for volunteers to clean and work on bikes (no experience necessary)
• Donate Funds: Just $25 puts a kid on a bike — every dollar makes an impact

Why Sponsor?
FB4K offers a unique opportunity for our sponsors to be community-involved, promoting a healthy, active lifestyle, with compassion for countless underprivileged kids (and adults). Monetary donations will be used for things like bike repair tools, parts, and professional mechanics to ensure the safety of every bike we give away. Our all-volunteer board ensures that about 90% of all contributions go directly toward bikes for kids — only a small percentage is used to cover other costs. We are in need of monetary sponsorships in any amount, as well as in-kind donations.
