In this video we go over the Charioteer, the turreted tier 8 British tank destroyer on the tech tree. The Charioteer is part of a line of sleepers, in my opinion, because the tier 5 all the way up to the tier 9 are somewhere between decent and excellent and they all play fairly similarly (except the shitbarn). The Charioteer stands out in the line because it has the best speed of the tanks in the line, and while the gun is great (which is a common trait in the whole line.. except the shitbarn), the really notable thing is the premium HESH round that the Charioteer has access to. 210mm of penetration is enough to pen things in the side reliably, and the front of some things if you aim well, and slapping for 480 before scooting away makes for some very fun gameplay.

All in all, the whole line (except the shitbarn) are worth playing but the Charioteer is probably the highlight of the line which is especially notable given that it's on the tech tree for free and is better than a lot of premium tanks out there-- a rare sight in 2022 World of Tanks.
