The weakest of the Great Powers in 1444 the England learned early how to problem solve with his boats. With several older, stronger rivals ready to tear him a new bum, fights tended to end before the runt of the European litter could maneuver into a good position on land, so the England trained himself to sail. He sailed everywhere, all the time, until he could beat his pack of mad dog rival/siblings in the fray.
