For this quartet I teamed up with my best friend and fantastic trumpet player, EJ Ramos. EJ and I studied trumpet at Indiana University together. EJ was a masters student and I was an undergrad. Shortly into EJ's masters he won a job with the Pershing's Own U.S. Army Band. From the time he left around 2007 to now, he has always been there for support, motivation, and friendship. With all EJ's unwavering confidence in me audition after audition, I soon will be joining him in the Pershing's Own Army Band. This recording is the last thing I will play on trumpet until I have graduated bootcamp.
