The Mount Goliath Natural Area is located on 160 on Mount Evans, just west of Denver. The area is on the boundary between sub-alpine forest and tundra and contains most of the bristlecone pine trees on Mount Evans. Some of these trees are over 1,600 years old with at least one dating back to the early part of the 5th century.
