You never know what type of wedding it’s going to be the day before New Year’s. I couldn’t have asked for a better couple to photograph than Kraig and Keri. They simply wanted to surround themselves with their closest friends and family to enjoy their wedding day with them. I started doing some photography of Keri and her sisters at their home. It was a beautiful space to work with. We got some great shots along the staircase and foyer. We then headed to Saint Agnes in Middleton Massachusetts. The church was so well decorated for the Christmas season. You could tell how important it was to them to have the ceremony at the church as that was part of their lives growing up. The rest of the day took place at Willowdale Estate in Topsfield Massachusetts. Although we got there a little later in the day when it was getting dark. We were able to get some shots outside by the front door that included the Rolls-Royce. We did some photography in front of the fireplace of the families. The rest of the evening was filled with fun, laughter, and a great dance crowd. It was the perfect combination of the candid, folder, photo journalistic imagery, combined with some interesting portraiture. I’m so glad it was able to be part of the day.
