One of the most curious and unique natural constructs ever discovered in the Realm of Pulchra were the Gothic Monoliths - gigantic stones packed with raw, clean atomic energy and magical power. These monoliths were created as a result of Gotham's Curse - a magical supernova that rocked the entire metaverse of Fantaji. Hundreds of these monoliths lie on Earth alone, and provided the terrans with all the energy they could ever need and more. These monoliths, however, gradually influenced them over many generations - grooming them to become loyal to the cause of their creator - Gotham the Wicked.
A unique property of the gothic monoliths is that they'd drain the power of whatever electronic devices came into contact with them, which would in turn provide these monoliths with a temporary energy boost. Eventually, the terrans found a way to create small synthetic monolith launchers that would be used to drain power from enemy vehicles and tanks. The only cache is that these smaller monoliths would eventually collapse upon themselves due to all the energy they'd absorb in the process, returning it to their owner. It makes for a great support and crowd control weapon, nonetheless, however.
