LYNCHBURG, Va. (WSET) — You may have seen more bugs out and about over the last couple of weeks.

Spotted Lanternflies are back across multiple areas of the Commonwealth. They recently hatched into small insects, with black and white spots-- that's their early nymph stage.

Soon they'll grow into their late nymph stage, where they'll turn red. Then, they'll turn into the winged insect we've all grown to know.
