This took me WAY TOO LONG to edit, I know. Originally this video was supposed to be twice the length it is now, with me reading out ALL the snippets I believe Mike Flanagan used as inspiration for the series. However, after hearing my awful voice massacring the beautiful writing of Shirley Jackson, I opted to remove all of that and focus on the differences in narrative and characters.

Hope the wait was worth it!
