Toronto Police Service Hold Up would like to make the public aware of an ongoing violent home invasion robbery and shooting investigation.
It is alleged that:
- on Monday, February 20, 2017, three men and two women attended an apartment building in the Yonge Street and Sheppard Avenue West area
- two of the men and one woman entered the building via the underground
- two men knocked on the victim's apartment door which was opened by the male victim
- two men rushed into the apartment and demanded money and jewellery from him
- he struggled with the two men who were armed with a handgun and a screwdriver
- one man fired two shots at him and the other man stabbed him in the head with a screwdriver
- one of the bullets struck the victim in his left shoulder
- the two men stole several items from the victim's home before fleeing
After an investigation by TPS Hold Up, four people have been arrested
- investigators are seeking assistance identifying the outstanding man
On Saturday, May 27, 2017, Andre Allen, 26, of Scarborough, was arrested and charged with:
1) Robbery While Armed with a Firearm
2) Attempted Murder
3) Forcible Confinement
4) Aggravated Assault
5) Discharge Firearm Endanger Life
6) four counts of Possession of a Firearm Contrary to a Prohibition Order
He is scheduled to appear in court at Old City Hall, on Monday, June 12, 2017, 11 a.m., room 114.
On Tuesday, May 16, 2017, Krystle Cormack, 33, of North York, was arrested and charged with:
1) Conspiracy to Commit Indictable Offence
2) Robbery while Armed with a Firearm
3) Attempted Murder
4) Forcible Confinement
5) Aggravated Assault
She is scheduled to appear in court at 1000 Finch Avenue West on Thursday, June 22, 2017, 9 a.m., room 301.
On Thursday, March 23, 2017, Mark Bollers, 27, of North York, was arrested and charged with:
1) Conspiracy to Commit Indictable Offence
2) Robbery While Armed with a Firearm
3) Attempted Murder
4) Forcible Confinement
5) Aggravated Assault
6) Discharge Firearm Endanger Life
7) two counts of Fail to Comply with Recognizance
He is scheduled to appear in court at 1000 Finch Avenue West, on Thursday, June 22, 2017, 9 a.m., room 301.
On Thursday, March 16, 2017, Toni Baxter, 26, of North York, was arrested and charged with:
1) Attempted Murder
2) Discharge Firearm with Intent to Wound, Endanger Life
3) Aggravated Assault
4) Forcible Entry
5) Robbery while Armed with a Firearm
She is scheduled to appear in court at 1000 Finch Avenue West, on Thursday, June 8, 2017, 9 a.m., room 301.
